Responsibilities

Research, write, and edit various types of content, such as SEO-optimized blog posts, newsworthy articles, newsletter blogs, longer-format guides and white papers, social media posts, event and conference presentations, and more

Ensure our content is optimized for search engines to improve visibility and drive organic traffic

Analyze buyer-persona demographics, preferences, and behaviors to tailor content effectively

Get and stay up to date with broader resilience industry trends and competitor activities to inform content strategy

Maintain knowledge of modern trends and best practices regarding business writing and B2B content marketing and apply that knowledge in your work including suggestions for improvement

Effectively engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and work independently and collaboratively with other team members around the business, as well as work with other team members to ensure content aligns with branding and marketing initiatives

Maintaining a consistent brand voice and messaging across all content

Required

2+ years of content writing experience in a corporate marketing setting, preferably in B2B

High school diploma or equivalent

Demonstrated content writing experience in a corporate marketing environment (preferably in Software or Technology), with a portfolio to demonstrate writing competency

Exceptional writing, communication, and research skills

Ability to construct story narratives and bring them to life for a B2B audience

Impeccable attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively across departments and teams to source, develop, and execute ideas based on multiple inputs

Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

Desire to do work that makes a difference, supporting Noggin’s mission to help communities and organizations manage disruption, smarter

A flexible, team-first collaborator who is willing to both give and receive constructive feedback

A goal-oriented individual who approaches projects with a positive, inquisitive mindset

A proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Writing, or a related field preferred
