Responsibilities

Lead implementation efforts for SAP EDI/IDOC/B2Bi functionality for.

Lead the development and implementation of new SAP functionality.

Create and execute testing programs.

Create and execute training programs.

Establish best practices for business processes related to SAP, and lead the organization to implement them.

Develop configure SAP IDocs and Sterling Integrator support of SAP projects.

Lead and/or participate in events related to cutovers and go-lives.

Generate ideas for improving profitability in the organization through new EDI functionality and new partnerships in the EDI workspace. Lead projects to implement those ideas.

Provide 2nd and 3rd tier support for EDI related support issues.

Strive to learn SAP functionality in other functional areas, and deepen knowledge in assigned functional area.

Create functional specifications for proposed EDI changes to communicate specifications to technical and programming resources.

Work with other IT Leadership to determine priorities and resolve resource restraints with our consultants.

Assist business partners and business teams in the identification, prioritization, and documentation of systems enhancements

Facilitate the identification and selection of EDI solutions

Serve as a liaison between Hearthside Food Solutions and EDI trading partners

Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and Safety Regulations consistently.

Required

3-5 years experience with SAP and IDOC management

Expert Knowledge of EDI terminology and document types

Expert Knowledge of B2Bi/Sterling Integrator

Ability to collaborate directly with customers and vendors

Detailed, expert knowledge of SAP EDI related transactions

Knowledge of IDoc setup

Knowledge of SAP transactions in IDoc functional areas

Knowledge of cXML

Expert knowledge of EDI Partner setup

Expert knowledge of processing routines for all IDocs

Expert knowledge of mapping processes from IDoc to EDI message types

Knowledge of training principles

Knowledge of testing principles

Knowledge of system security principles

Support the business with skilled SAP knowledge in assigned functional area

Compile and execute excellent training programs

Compile and execute excellent testing programs

Troubleshoot and resolve SAP issues in assigned functional area

Recognize impacts to processes outside of assigned functional area

Drive process changes within the organization through collaboration and salesmanship

Support and manage a high volume of tasks

Adapt to new situations and challenges, as circumstances demand

Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Document effectively

Work effectively with all levels of the organization

Lead ‘best in class’ behaviors with focus on safety, quality, and policy focus
