Responsibilities
Automate, configure, and deploy cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Cloud Formation, CI/CD pipeline, and other automation tools (ex: Ansible).
Support and configure Apache Airflow, including installing, configuring, and monitoring Airflow cluster.
Support other applications, systems, and microservices deployed in AWS, GCP or OCI.
Investigate anomalies/outages and determine steps to reproduce, identify root cause, and solution improvements.
Research and implement highly complex solutions to ensure reliability and resiliency of applications, systems, and services.
Implement policies and procedures for cloud security compliance, governance, and architecture validation.
Implement best DevOps practices across the organization to improve performance and efficiency.
Collaborates with software engineering, security, and other infrastructure teams to help automate and streamline operations and processes.
Participate in an on-call rotation for production issue escalations.
Responsible for architecture, design, and automation to ensure high availability of services and applications.
Establish and implement policies and procedures for cloud security compliance, governance, and architecture validation.
May assume other duties as applied.

Required
Mastery of fundamental Linux operating systems functions.
Solid understanding of core cloud services and functionality (AWS, GCP or Azure).
Solid understanding of cloud networking implementations – subnets, security groups, network access controls, networking automation.
Demonstrated experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP or Azure).
Proficiency in writing scripts (Python, yaml, json, unix shell scripting, or Powershell).
Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and working together with the team to solve problems.
In-depth knowledge of cloud networking implementations – subnets, security groups, network access controls, networking automation.
In-depth knowledge with managing infrastructure as code using Ansible, Cloud Formation or Terraform.
Understanding and experience in at least one CI/CD pipeline (Gitlab/Jenkins.).
Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code using Ansible, Cloud Formation or Terraform.
Able to write good technical documents.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
7+ years of progressive experience in Linux/Windows system administration and architecture.
3-5 years related work experience with AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud infrastructure.
Preferred
Knowledge of Ansible Tower preferred.
Proficiency in creating DAGs in Apache Airflow, writing Python scripts, building custom operators, and hooks.
Bachelor's degree in computer technology or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Certification – AWS or GCP preferred.
