Responsibilities

Actively manage consultant(s) responsible for payroll wage verification and monitoring.
Manage and evaluate the cost effectiveness of 3rd party services to address risk and industry best practices.
Review and evaluate scope on an annual basis.
Monitor and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve the management of EVgo’s compliance program supported visa-a-vis systems, policies or procedures enhancements
Interface with internal teams and government representatives concerning compliance matters in support of internal and/or external supplier audits.
Grow the internal teams’ capabilities on topics of labor and contractor compliance by providing guidance, training, and leadership on compliance topics.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business administration or other relevant degree.
Three (3) or more years of management experience.
Five (5) or more years relevant government contracts experience.
Experience with federal labor laws pertaining to construction: Davis Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA), and/or state public works projects, (e.g. CA DIR).
Experience implementing a contractor compliance program and/or certified payroll management system.
Internal Audit or experience managing consultants and EPC contractors.
Strong planning, interpersonal, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and communication skills to secure understanding and cooperation of multiple functions.
Ability to develop and maintain external industry contacts that can contribute positively to the success of the organization.

Preferred

Experience with the US Department of Energy or Department of Labor.
