Responsibilities
Prepare tax returns and supporting work papers for individuals, C corporations, S corporations, and partnerships.
Prepare extension calculations and quarterly estimates.
Perform tax research.
Assist with tax planning projects.
Respond to notices from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
Assist with other ad-hoc tax projects.
Represent Accountfully with a high-level of professionalism in all communications.

Required
Basic financial statement understanding.

Proficiency with time management and meeting deadlines while managing multiple client projects.

Bachelor’s Degree
One to two years experience in accounting and tax preparation in a public accounting firm.
A knack for producing work with a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
Tax Law Knowledge.
Debit and credit understanding.
Systems Knowledge (Time Tracking, Excel, QuickBooks Online, Task Organizer and Workflow Management, Tax Preparation Software-Ultratax).
Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-motivation, thriving in independent work settings to proactively drive tasks and projects to successful completion with minimal supervision.
Ability to manage time and workload in a remote environment.
Professional, kind and proactive in all client-facing communication (written and on camera).
Preferred
Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required.
