Responsibilities
Serve as the lead for the Financial Reporting Team as it relates to combinations including collaborating with other firms and departments and handling the related purchase accounting.
Serve as technical accounting manager for the Finance department
Collect and analyze Finance-related information, identify issues and potential risks, and translate incoming records to be in accordance with regulatory and statutory reporting standards.
Month-end close activities including journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Financial statement analysis
Provide support to Firm Partners and managers regarding financial reporting matters
Support and enhance internal business unit and firm operations by acquiring knowledge of firm operations and identifying opportunities for improvement
Proactively maintain and expand knowledge base in areas of responsibility. Integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work and share with colleagues, as appropriate

Required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, as well as the ability to work independently with technical competence in accounting.
Articulate, professional demeanor with strong self-confidence and executive presence.
Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills that include knowing when to escalate decisions and issues. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.
Ability to provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, maintain confidentiality, and display appropriate ethical knowledge.
A sense of urgency and a commitment to quality and timely completion of projects.
MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) technical knowledge, skills, and experience.
Preferred
CPA License preferred.
