Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing project strategies, approaches, and plans across multiple workstreams.
Identify risks and gaps in the project timeline and workflows and provide recommendations for mitigating these challenges.
Act as the technical administrator and daily manager for Jira and MS Project, ensuring the proper setup and usage of these tools.
Support cross-functional teams with project tracking, reporting, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Work with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of project milestones.
Maintain and update dashboards, reports, and timelines across project management tools.
Troubleshoot issues related to Jira and coordinate with technical support when necessary.
Ensure that project data is accurate and up to date for leadership review.

Required
2+ years of project management experience or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Jira and MS Project with demonstrated experience in both technical administration and usage.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to track and manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables.
Preferred
Certifications in project management tools (Jira and/or MS Project) or relevant PM certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
Familiarity with NYS government/ Medicaid/ health and human services.
Familiarity with project management tools' customization and reporting features.
Experience working in various project management environments (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
