Responsibilities
Achievement of sales objectives and specific volume goals through both direct and broker team management, successful execution of account plans and brand strategies.
Have in-depth knowledge of our partners - Know your customers, stores, brokers, and distributors, and how they define success and how we partner with them.
Leverage sales data, market trends, partner feedback - Identify problems before they are problems and identify opportunities before our competition.
Takes initiative to understand overall category and competitive trends and explores and pursues new and innovative opportunities for sales and brand growth in untapped markets, retailers, or new segments of business to present Schweid and Sons programs and secure new placements within existing as well as new customers.
Diligently use CRM (Salesforce) to track sales activity and progress to goals.
Actively participate in trade shows and major sales events including possible weekend work/travel.
Maintains effective oral and written business communication and ongoing cross-functional interaction with Brokers, Sales Team, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Brand Marketing partners.

BS/BA degree in business or related discipline.
5-7 years of Branded CPG selling experience desired, with a minimum of 3 years of significant interactions with relevant accounts at the HQ level.
Retail grocery experience is required.
Demonstrated business development experience, with a proven ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
Strong bias for action, with an ability to proactively drive initiatives and make timely decisions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, Salesforce and PowerBI.
Position will require approximately 25% overnight travel.
Preferred
CPG experience in a Fresh, Branded category preferred.
Strong preference for candidate to reside in NC, SC, GA, or TN. Open to FL, VA, and MD.
