Responsibilities
Produce roadway and transportation designs for new construction and rehabilitation projects, ensuring they meet all client and regulatory standards.
Lead and manage project tasks, including schedule and budget oversight, and coordinate effectively with other team members.
Attend client meetings, participate in proposals and presentations, and liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
Manage, train, and mentor less experienced engineers, guiding them in the production of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E).
Assist in local marketing efforts, such as proposal preparation, participating in professional chapter meetings, and attending municipal functions and meetings.

Required
5 to 15 years of experience in highway, interchange, and roadway design.
Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) familiar with DOT Standards for Design.
Proficiency in MicroStation V8i software, Bentley InRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Detail-oriented, a self-starter, and proficient in both verbal and written communication.
Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and manage small design groups and projects effectively.
