Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based desktop applications using Swing and JavaFX.
Design and implement web interfaces using Java-based technologies.
Develop server-side logic and business processes using Java, including interaction with MySQL databases.
Design basic MySQL schema.
Connect and integrate third-party client APIs.
Design and implement desktop UI components that work seamlessly across different screen resolutions and operating systems (Mac and Windows).
Create and manage PDF and HTML5 outputs/files generated by the software using relevant packages/libraries.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop and web application functionality and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Required

Strong 5+ years of experience in Java desktop development with a focus on Swing and JavaFX.
Proficiency in core Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
Experience in developing Java-based web interfaces and backend services.
Hands-on experience with third-party API integration.
Experience interacting with MySQL or other relational databases in a Java environment.
Proven track record of generating and managing PDF and HTML5 reports within applications.
Experience developing on both Mac and Windows platforms, with an understanding of handling varying screen resolutions.
Expertise in desktop and web UI design and usability principles.
Proven experience working with US based business teams.
Excellent written and communication skills in English language.
Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations - Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap.
