The Software Automation Engineer will develop and maintain automation software and internal engineering tools, validate semiconductor devices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development.

Responsibilities

Validate chip functionality at both the electrical and protocol/system levels
Develop Python scripts to automate feature and functional testing
Collaborate with chip designers and firmware engineers to analyze silicon behavior, debug issues, and resolve design concerns

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python and shell
Familiarity with software development best practices and life cycle concepts
Experience with Python, C, or C++ programming
Understanding of electronic circuit design and analysis
Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to independently debug complex issues
Strong communication skills and experience working in a team environment
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Team player, able to communicate effectively in a cross-functional environment

Preferred

Knowledge in Ethernet, PCIe, WiFi or other communication protocols is a plus
Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, and other test equipment is a plus
