Responsibilities
Understand the marketing and fundraising goals and objectives of a client’s program
Develop comprehensive direct mail strategies with support and/or oversight of a Director of Direct Mail Strategy
Draft campaign strategy blueprints for clients that will be shared with clients and used by account managers and operations team members to execute campaigns
Present direct mail strategies to clients and answer questions related to direct mail strategies
Provide direct mail campaign reporting and recommend changes to plans as needed, ensuring that goals are being met and strategies are optimized
Maintain and refine annual budgets and projections as campaigns progress throughout the year
Ascertain and develop personal knowledge of various client technical platforms for appropriate use in execution of direct mail strategies
Participate on client teams that serve RKD’s nonprofit clients
Collaborate with internal teams, including Client Partnership, Data & Analytics, and Account Management, to ensure seamless execution of strategies and ensure a strong client experience
Perform ongoing industry and channel research to ensure the most up to date strategies are being offered to clients, including findings from global trend analyses, testing, etc.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Required

Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
Preferably 5+ years’ experience in an agency environment with direct mail direct response marketing to develop direct mail marketing strategies, including recommendations for offer, packages and audiences.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).
