Responsibilities

Coach and influence internal and external leaders and teams to promote best practices in category management and achieve business results

Develop sourcing initiative strategy according to the total cost of ownership model, internal data and market intelligence

Manage large and complex projects to align with strategic initiatives within the BU and/or company

Execute on renewals in a timely fashion

Collaborate with internal leaders to develop procurement requirements, direct and execute on all aspects of strategic sourcing for medium-to-high complexity (dollar and risk) third-party needs, through negotiation of agreements.

Lead supply & demand planning, supplier selection, and contract review and negotiation

Support audit compliance and risk management efforts

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

7+ years of relevant experience in market data, sourcing or a combination of the two

Desire to learn more about Market Data

Proven ability to engage with stakeholders, suppliers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.

Integrity that wants to do it the right way instead of the easy or quick way

Aptitude for solving complex problems and challenging/influencing partners

Strong written and verbal communication skills are vital

Preferred

Experience with market data providers, competitive intelligence and benchmarking firms, fraud/risk data and data brokers are strongly preferred for the Business Intelligence category. Suppliers include Bloomberg, MSCI, S&P, LexisNexis, etc.

Experience in Demand/ Supply Planning and Spend Analysis/ Supply Chain Mapping preferred
