Responsibilities
Collaborate with core teams to develop, implement, and manage the data center HVAC designs at the company’s data center locations, starting from Basis of Design (BOD) to Issued For Construction (IFC) data center services documents for new data center projects build-outs, infrastructure upgrades, and renovations.
Peer review consultants’ deliverables including drawing sets, specifications, sequence of operations, calculations, models, etc. and provide comments & resolutions.
Own and manage all site level mechanical engineering issues during project execution phase.
Support quality assurance and control (QA/QC) during the design and construction process.
Provide technical support to operations personnel.
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policies.
Represent the company in project meetings as needed.
Support the commissioning team in the development of documentation and testing procedures for each project, review field testing results, and provide technical guidance to Vendor teams in the resolution of issues.

Required
8 plus years’ experience in mission critical design and construction
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree
Experience with mechanical control systems and best control strategies in a data center environment.
AutoCAD experience
Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of HVAC and mechanical distribution systems to include air and water side systems.
Experience with mechanical systems utilizing chilled water for direct to chip cooling.
Construction administration and/or construction management experience.
Knowledge of large-scale mission critical facilities electrical infrastructure systems.
Preferred
Licensed PE a plus
