Responsibilities
Provide our NetApp customer advanced storage consulting to ensure successful Managed Services delivery outcomes
Provide the guidance, direction, policy making and at times design decisions (in partnership with customer storage engineering and/or NetApp Solution Engineering) for operational challenges and/or new solutions
Act as the senior technical liaison for NetApp on Major Incident Management calls, incident troubleshooting, and Problem Management including the preparation of Root Cause Analyses
Build trust and credibility with direct and cross functional stakeholders and customers

Required
Deep experience in architecting, implementation and troubleshooting of a very large environment with NetApp AFF, SnapCenter, SnapCreator and DR technologies
Must have prior experience and proficiency in design & implementation of NetApp Cloud solutions (especially Google Cloud Platform), including Cloud ONTAP, Cloud ONTAP HA, CVO
Must have extensive experience with NetApp MetroCluster
Must have extensive experience with end-to-end planning, designing & build out of NetApp Clusters as per NetApp Best Practices
Deep experience of FlexCache and FlexGroups
Prior consulting experience including providing strategic and tactical planning for data management and delivery. Broad exposure to a variety of technologies/concepts in a distributed environment, such as IAAS, PAAS, Hybrid Cloud, Private Cloud, Public Cloud
EXPERT Proficiency in the following Specialty Storage Solutions: NAS (CIFS, NFS) & SAN (FC, iSCSI)
Experience in setting up disaster recovery solution using Snap Vault, SnapMirror, scheduled Snapshots in NetApp for instantaneous user managed data recovery
Expert experience on NetApp Data ONTAP 7-Mode, C-Mode (9.6 or above), AIQUM, OCUM, OCI, CI
Strong prior experience with data migrations: 7 to cDOT, +cDOT to 9 (SAN & NAS), EMC Isilon to NetApp
Excellent analytical/problem solving abilities and leadership skills
Proven history of successful engagements with limited supervision leading remotely located operational delivery teams
The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert
Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance
Willing to be part of an ‘on call’ weekend rota that will involve being available on a 1 in 5 rotation
Minimum 8 years of experience is required
Must be NCDA ONTAP, NCIE SAN, NCSIE & NCSA-HC Certified
Work Authorization: Green Card, US Citizen
Preferred
10+ years of relevant experience preferred
Master of Science: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, equivalent experience preferred
Experience while working in a highly regulated financial arena
Experience with change control process and impact and risk assessment
Experience building/designing automation workflow
Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects
Google Cloud Certification is preferred
Preferred prior Windows, Unix or CISCO related certification
Scripting such as Ansible, Perl and Power Shell would be advantageous
