Responsibilities

Get acquainted with the current bioinformatic pipeline used by the group.
Once comfortable, help with testing the pipeline and write code for system updates.
Data wrangling preparation for new datasets to be used in future iterations of the pipeline.
Build comprehensive documentation for the pipeline upgrade and functionality.
Under general supervision of the Principal Investigator, researches, develops, and applies statistical models for analysis, inference, and prediction from multiple large datasets.
Collaborates with the bioinformatics staff for data cleaning and quality control of genomic datasets.
Provides regular reports of data curation and analysis to investigator and collaborators.
Adheres to rigorous principles of reproducible research and data documentation.
In collaboration with investigators and trainees, contributes to scientific literature, reports, journal publications and presentations.

Required

Applicants must be a current student in one of the master programs of Northeastern University with a co-op program
