Responsibilities

Perform sales department review and analysis, provide reports to CEO and make improvements, suggestions and plans where needed.
Involve yourself in the building out of sales pipelines, sales channels, and business development from day one.
Work closely with the CEO and recruitment team to select candidates for sales role, building out your own sales team, training and mentoring them to greatness.
Manage internal sales processes, including reviewing, monitoring and changing sales processes where needed, providing additional training to team members, coaching and dealing with internal performance issues.
Review and manage sales pipelines, oversee the teams’ pipelines and potential lead streams, brainstorm new lead stream options and test various strategies.
Complete personal business development and cold calling, whilst maintaining own leads and deals on the company CRM
Set targets, KPI’s etc for the sales team and monitor them monthly.
Provide reports to the CEO monthly.
Drive the company forward for growth and fundraising.
Work to targets and performance goals.
Build on the company’s existing vision of planting 1 billion trees, lead the sales team to success!

Required

Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a senior sales role, such as VP of sales, Sales Director or assistant VP of sales.
Minimum of 3 years previous experience in the sustainability sector and or fundraising sales sector experience.
Associates degree or above in a related field such as marketing would be an advantage.
Strong sales skills including the ability to know and navigate products, sell yourself and the business and can train others to sell themselves and the business too.
Be a self-starter, must be able to get up and go and motivate themselves and others daily to make a difference.
Excellent technical skills, strong knowledge of using a CRM and various mobile applications and computer systems such as Excel, Outlook, Google etc.
Strong analytical skills, able to report and provide insight to the CEO.
Able to mentor and train other team members to a high level.
Previous experience of building a team from the ground up, including taking part in the recruitment process.
Knowledge of setting up various sales channels.
Not afraid to get their own hands dirty and sell.
Have a vision to grow their own sales department and lead it to success.
