Responsibilities
Prospect, network, and create new opportunities by utilizing consultative selling solutions
Visit customers pre and post-sales, and attend national and regional conferences
Have excellent presentation skills. Demonstrate proven closing techniques
Develop technical knowledge to demonstrate the features and benefits of instrumentation
Participates in regular team meetings to share best practices, review performance against targets, and suggest ideas for improvement
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM to maintain accurate forecast information

Required
5+ years of outside sales experience with professional sales training certification
3+ years of capital equipment sales in the biotech/biopharma space
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline desired, relative laboratory experience a plus
Ability to plan and execute activities with minimal direct supervision.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Detail orientation, analytical approach, strong prioritization skills
Must provide detailed and timely reporting, accurate forecasting
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficient in CRM applications (Salesforce)
Experience hosting 1:1 virtual meetings via web applications (WebEx, MS Teams, Zoom)
