Responsibilities

Report to the Chief Technology Officer and be part of a collaborative Engineering Team supporting the company's top-rated AI-powered dash cam and safety alert app and developing it into insurance-backed programs for commercial and personal drivers.
There will be direct integrations with insurance, automotive and municipal partners working to enhance road safety.

Required

5+ years of experience building scalable microservices.
Strong server-side experience, particularly with languages such as Elixir, Node.js, Ruby, or Python and relational databases.
Experience with real-time, near-real-time, and batch-oriented data processing systems.
Comfortable sharding TB scale databases, writing application code for massively parallel services, and debugging deployments.
Ability to work across languages with ease, knowing the ins and outs of each language.
Ability to alternate between picking the best tool/language/framework for the job and making the best use of the tool right in front of you.
Concern about shipping code without a robust test suite.
Experience building edge cached, well documented REST APIs and exposure to GraphQL.
Experience designing data platforms from the ground up.
