Responsibilities
Deal Sourcing: You will identify and source potential acquisition targets through various channels, including industry networks, databases, online platforms, events, and cold outreach.
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and potential acquisition targets.
Networking: Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, including investment bankers, brokers, advisors, and company executives, to facilitate deal flow.
Initial Screening: Perform initial screening and analysis of potential targets to assess their fit with our investment criteria and strategic goals.
Data Management: Maintain and update a comprehensive database of potential acquisition targets, tracking key information and progress through the deal pipeline.
Collaboration: Work closely with the M&A team to provide insights and support throughout the deal evaluation and execution process.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on deal sourcing activities, market trends, and pipeline status for senior management.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
3+ years of experience in modern outreach activities, deal sourcing, investment banking, private equity, or related experience
Persistence and charisma - you don’t shy away from calling, nudging, email and calling people over and over again until you reach your goal
The work ethic of a D1 athlete. You've played competitive sports, and know what it takes to go above and beyond to out perform the competition
Proven ability to generate and manage a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities
Basic analytical skills
Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using deal sourcing tools and platforms, such as PitchBook, Crunchbase, and other relevant databases
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree
