Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of AI/ML algorithms and computer vision models for public sector projects.
Design and train Deep Learning models for object detection, image segmentation, and feature extraction in high-security environments.
Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for image and video processing, object detection, facial recognition, OCR, and other applications relevant to public sector needs.
Ensure compliance with government and regulatory requirements across all stages of model development, from data collection to deployment, including data security, privacy, and ethical considerations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust solutions for real-time video and image analysis.
Optimize AI models to meet stringent performance, accuracy, and scalability requirements in compliance with government standards.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and computer vision technologies and apply them to ongoing projects.
Document AI models, processes, and results in line with government regulations and project deliverables.

Required
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a focus on computer vision technologies.
Strong experience with image processing, object detection, OCR, and facial recognition using libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
Advanced proficiency in Python; experience with SQL and at least one other language (e.g., R, Java).
Strong understanding of data privacy and government regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP) with the ability to design AI systems that meet regulatory standards.
Strong understanding of government security standards, compliance, and data handling.
Experience deploying AI models in secure, real-time, and cloud-based environments.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
