Responsibilities

Lead and manage cross-functional projects across accounting, operations, and IT teams, focusing on enhancing operational accounting processes and promoting best practices.

Use SQL to query, analyze, and interpret large data sets to support operational accounting decisions, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency within operational accounting workflows, developing and implementing strategies to optimize financial systems.

Collaborate with the accounting team to support day-to-day operational accounting activities, including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Engage in cross-functional collaboration with accounting, technical, and operational teams, acting as a liaison to translate operational accounting needs into data-driven solutions and system improvements.

Document project objectives, processes, and outcomes, and train accounting and non-accounting teams on newly implemented systems and best practices.
