Responsibilities
Lead Development Initiatives: Drive the design, development, and implementation of critical business applications using Java, Appian, and AWS.
Architect and Code Solutions: Translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and secure code, working hands-on with both front-end and back-end technologies.
Appian and Workflow Management: Configure and optimize workflows using the Appian platform to enhance business process automation.
AWS Cloud Deployment: Architect and implement solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Mentor and Collaborate: Work with and mentor junior team members, guiding them in best practices for development and cloud deployment.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and code improvements, advocating for best practices in software engineering.

Required
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Java development, with a solid understanding of OOP principles, microservices architecture, and design patterns.
Proven experience with Appian platform configuration, deployment, and process optimization.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway), with a deep understanding of cloud architecture and deployment.
Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, with experience mentoring developers.
Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools like JIRA or similar project management software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions.
Preferred
Appian certification and AWS Solutions Architect certification are highly desirable.
Experience working in the financial services industry or a regulated environment.
