Responsibilities
Conducting pipe stress analysis for projects across the CEPC portfolio.
Provide feedback to internal engineering teams including suitability of designs, support loadings, and nozzle loadings.
Review stress analysis results, technical drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and customer requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex engineering challenges and optimize pipe system designs for efficiency and reliability.
Support in-service stress evaluations for Fitness-For-Service, change of service, or other analysis as needed.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to address technical inquiries, scope changes, and project updates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate substation designs with overall infrastructure plans and operational strategies.

Required
Must be USA Authorized
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in stress analysis, with a focus on pipe stress analysis.
Robust knowledge of industry and government codes and standards including ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, B31.12, CFR 49 Part 192, CFR 49 Part 193, CFR 49 Part 195, ASCE 7
Extensive experience troubleshooting existing systems, common industry issues, to solve technical problems independently.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
