Responsibilities

Design and architect cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements for scalability, security, and efficiency.

Develop cloud infrastructure roadmaps and strategies in collaboration with stakeholders and IT teams.

Lead migration projects from on-premises systems to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Ensure best practices for cloud architecture, including cost management, disaster recovery, and data security.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.

Conduct regular assessments and optimize cloud resources to maximize performance and minimize costs.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and other stakeholders.

Document architectural designs, implementation plans, and security protocols for cloud environments.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure, or cloud-based application development.

Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect).

Strong knowledge of cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and relevant technologies.

Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Hands-on experience with cloud networking, storage, and security best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.

Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.

Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).

Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Federal Experience is a plus.
