Managing press releases
Strategic communications
Media relations
Writing tasks to support the organization's mission
Updating website content utilizing WordPress
Making social media posts across all social platforms
Managing email platforms like Mail Chimp or Constant Contact
Consistent editing video and photo content to match our brand and to be published on social media
Adept at managing and emailing a large list of media contacts
Ability to communicate with company executives, management and the board of directors

Required
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
Proficiency in WordPress a must
Press Releases, Strategic Communications, and Writing skills
Communication and Media Relations skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work independently and remotely as well as collaborate with other team players
Significant experience, minimum of 5 years
Updating website content utilizing WordPress
Making social media posts across all social platforms
Managing email platforms like Mail Chimp or Constant Contact
Consistent editing video and photo content to match our brand and to be published on social media
Adept at managing and emailing a large list of media contacts
Ability to communicate with company executives, management and the board of directors

Experience in the non-profit or humanitarian sector is a plus
