Responsibilities
Collect, peruse and record payments for physical therapy services
Research and take steps necessary to resolve unpaid insurance claims
Discern issues related to non-payment
Act as liaison between insurance carrier while working to resolve unpaid claims and/or accounts

Required
Adherence to laws and best practices in regards to dealing with patients and data
Must possess accuracy and attention to detail, review data, and correct discrepancies in patient accounts
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Exceptional customer service skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic accounting skills are required
Preferred
Two or more years of patient account management experience in either a hospital or physician practice setting is preferred
