Responsibilities
Manage and grow relationships with existing national accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, product placement, and promotional execution.
Act as the lead point of contact for all matters relating to national accounts, addressing any issues proactively and driving solutions.
Work collaboratively with our sales team to ensure seamless product rollout and promotional campaigns across channels.
Use market intelligence [including syndicated data (e.g., SPINS) to identify and recommend new product opportunities, strategic partnerships, and other growth avenues for our clients with our key retail partners
Act as the lead point of contact for all matters relating to national accounts, addressing any issues proactively and driving solutions.
Develop accurate forecasting models for accounts with our clients as needed.
Develop and execute a comprehensive national accounts sales strategy to drive revenue and expand current clients portfolios.
Identify key opportunities for new business development, negotiate and secure contracts with major national and regional retail partners, grocery chains, and food service distributors.
Align strategy with overall company goals and contribute to long-term growth planning and brand positioning efforts.
Lead and mentor the sales team with weekly grocery calls.
Analyze and report on performance metrics, including velocity, volume growth, trade spend, and margin targets; continuously optimize the sales strategy based on data and market trends.

Required
10+ years of sales experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably focusing on natural, better-for-you, or functional products.
Prior experience with SPINS data
Prior experience with distributors such as UNFI/KEHE.
5+ years leading national accounts for a similarly positioned brand in food and beverage
Proven track record of managing and growing national accounts, with strong relationships across major grocery, retail, and food service channels.
Entrepreneurial self-starter who can independently drive results
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
