Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of SAP FICO testing activities, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules for SAP FICO projects.
Collaborate with SAP FICO functional and technical teams to understand requirements and ensure testing coverage.
Design test cases and scripts for end-to-end financial and controlling processes, ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements.
Coordinate testing activities with business users, manage test execution, track issues, and oversee defect management processes.
Identify and escalate testing risks and issues, working closely with the project team to mitigate and resolve challenges.
Conduct regular test reviews, defect reviews, and provide reporting on testing progress, results, and outcomes to project stakeholders.
Implement and utilize testing tools to automate and streamline test processes, where feasible.
Ensure compliance with testing standards, procedures, and quality metrics.
Mentor and support junior testing team members, providing guidance and best practices for SAP FICO testing.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in SAP FICO with at least 3+ years in a testing management role.
Strong expertise in SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
Proven experience in developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases for SAP FICO modules.
Hands-on experience with test management tools such as HP ALM, SAP Solution Manager, Worksoft Certify, or similar.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying testing requirements and executing test scenarios.
Strong knowledge of software development and testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex testing scenarios and results.
Proven leadership abilities and team management skills.
Preferred
SAP S/4HANA experience.
Experience with test automation tools for SAP (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, Selenium).
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance (e.g., SOX).
ISTQB Certification or SAP Certification in FICO is a plus.
