Responsibilities
Get familiar with our development environment, architecture, and processes.
Work with product managers to develop and release new features.
Collaborate with management and implementation teams on ongoing projects.
Identify opportunities for improvements in our workflows.
Develop, maintain, and optimize our Android app for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi-enabled IoT devices.
Diagnose and resolve issues across app, cloud, and firmware.
Implement best practices to improve app performance and code quality.
Lead efforts to improve development processes and speed up delivery.
Contribute to long-term technical planning while addressing immediate needs.
Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge.

Required
6+ years of experience building Android apps, with proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android SDKs.
Understanding of unidirectional data flow in Compose, ensuring smooth state management and responsive UIs.
Leadership skills, with a history of driving projects and collaborating effectively across teams.
Proven experience structuring/restructuring large-scale apps for maintainability and scalability.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as Fastlane and GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON integration, and GraphQL.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred
Experience with IoT or connected devices.
Experience with other platforms such as iOS and backend.
Passion for learning and innovation, always striving to improve software quality.
