Responsibilities

Collaborate cross-functionally with corporate communications, strategy, marketing and branding, third party business partners and other stakeholders to create a cohesive and strategic communication plan.
Oversee implementation of the plan from creation of the strategy through planning, development, coordination and execution of internal and external communications.
Support organizational and operational changes throughout the company with a goal of driving successful adoption of change. Act as a change agent who sees change as an opportunity.
Prioritize, synthesize and coordinate information dissemination to ensure communications are delivered on the right platforms, to the right audiences and at the right time while ensuring different functional and urgent company messages are not competing with one another.
Ensure employee messaging is consistent to build commitment and engagement around the business strategy.
Implement a strategic social media plan to amplify CherryRoad initiatives and unite all brands.
Oversee social media content and engagement across all CherryRoad corporate channels.
Actively engage in social listening as it pertains to all CherryRoad brands.
Work to establish and continuously refine the corporate narrative, with clear, compelling, and consistent messages to support the brand and corporate reputation.
As a strategic advisor, ensure employees at all levels and types of roles within the organization are considered when communicating change.
Anticipate and proactively address communications issues, working with the corporate communications team to ensure effective and timely resolution. Help respond to crises as needed.
Develop, coach, and support team members with standards, processes, and the right infrastructure to have the biggest possible impact.
Support high-level business partnerships by providing strategic counsel and execution to help further awareness and credibility through new alliances.
Measure and report on key success and failure metrics over time.
Oversee production of employee events such as quarterly town halls, annual company employee awards and other events as needed.
Oversee maintenance and content population of corporate external site, as well as intranet.
Oversee senior leadership communications ensuring these communications are relevant, with appropriate voice and tone. Advise the company's executive management team regarding communications strategies and tactics. Provide recommendations for messaging and communications channels.

Required

10 years of significant experience leading communications/PR strategy and teams.
Understands the world of product, corporate, consumer and enterprise communications and have demonstrated experience in developing strategies that deliver the objectives of each.
Is comfortable taking story ideas from concept to launch – creating themes that can play through PR, social media, executive keynotes, general marketing, and internal messaging.
Is a great connector – who brings the right partners to build on strategic communication directives and know who to approach for external support.
Has experience leading an external PR/Communications agency.
Has a base of existing media industry connections and business relationships.
Is a natural leader who can rally teams of all kinds and influence and work with a wide range of stakeholders, including the executive team, specialty leads, product teams, sales, customer service, email, marketing product design, growth, engineering, etc. to deliver on communications campaigns.
Is an outcome and results-focused leader who knows how to prioritize strategy and goals for teams and rally everyone to focus on high-impact initiatives and goals.
Has a reputation for being energetic, hungry, innovative, enthusiastic, humble, agile, and intellectually curious.
Has a willingness to listen first, while maintaining the ability to act as a change agent and offer informed opinions and sound judgments.
Has exemplary performance record, outstanding judgment, and a proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, results-oriented environments.
Has demonstrated to be a quick learner with keen intuition and strong initiative.
Has incredible organizational skills, hustle and attention to detail.
Has the ability to balance the big picture strategically, with getting the important things done in timely manner.
Has the desire to work hard and have fun!
