Responsibilities
Write complete specifications for interferometer optics including objective, transmission flats and relay lenses including optomechanical and system level requirements for same, as well as metrology needed to perform optical subassembly qualification testing
Architect a state-of-the-art interferometry system which requires detailed analysis of optics manufacturing tradeoffs to conduct cost vs. performance studies
Bring a strong knowledge of the capabilities of critical fabrication and metrology tools including MRF, IBF, CGH, refractometers, centration measurement scopes, and stress meters used to fab and test both the lenses and qualify the fab process
Qualification
Required
Doctorate (Academic) or work experience of 2 years
Master's Level Degree or work experience of 4 years
Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 5 years
