Responsibilities

Responsible for development of regression test strategy and test plans ensuring appropriate test coverage will identify problems with software applications as well as execution of regression test cases and ensure communication of test results to leadership and appropriate development teams.

Responsible for development and maintenance of automated testing keyword, data driven, behavior driven, and hybrid frameworks and solutions to reduce time required to execute testing.

Develop and maintain modular, re-usable automated User Interface (UI) and Application Programming Interface (API) test scripts for wide range of applications.

Design and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline using Bitbucket, Jenkins or Bamboo tools to build and execute automation test scripts on multiple environments for every code deployment.

Work with cloud environments and cloud testing services to implement parallel test automation executions in team and test environments.

Work across teams to resolve technical issues encountered during testing.

Review test cases and automated test scripts created by other team members to ensure proper test coverage is developed for each project.

Define best practices and guidelines for Quality Engineering teams.

Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study and 7 years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering.

7 years of experience as an IT Analyst with multiple application platforms.

7 years of experience planning and creating automation frameworks.

7 years of experience planning, creating, and executing automated test scripts.

Leading and managing activities on multiple simultaneous cross-functional and cross-organizational projects.

Researching and analyzing problems with software applications.

Building productive, collaborative and reciprocal working relationship with business and technical partners.

Working in an Agile environment.

Working with Katalon Studio, Selenium, Java, Groovy, TestNG, Oracle, SQL, UNIX, SoapUI, Appium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Swagger, and Soap/Restful API Services.

Preferred

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study and 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 7 years of progressive experience.
