Responsibilities
Accurate Payroll Processing: Collect, validate, and organize Company and employee data to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Audit and Verification: Assist with audits and verify payroll-related data, including new hires, terminations, changes to employee personal information, and pay or status changes.
Timesheet Verification: Verify timesheet completeness and calculations, ensure appropriate approvals, and accurately apply special pay codes.
Union Deductions: Review and enter union employee deductions in accordance with state and Collective Bargaining Agreement rules.
Audit Requests: Assist with miscellaneous audit requests.
Payroll Inquiries: Triage the payroll email box, respond to payroll-related questions, and resolve issues.
Union Dues Reconciliation: Prepare and reconcile union dues, including payments to unions, CBA experience.
Reporting: Provide standard and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
Compliance Reporting: Assist with state and federal compliance reporting.
General Payroll Duties: Handle various payroll-related duties and perform other tasks as assigned.

Required
High school diploma or GED / associate degree in a finance or equivalent field preferred.
2+ years of ADP Workforce Payroll processing experience. Workday a plus.
2+ years of payroll experience.
Union Background a must.
Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee pay.
Working knowledge of payroll systems and standard payroll processing practices.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills.
Computer proficiency, including MS Excel and MS Office Suite.
