Responsibilities

Partnering with other departments to assess the revenue impact of sales activities and provide solutions that support business objectives. Ensure the revenue recognition accounting process is optimized and fully compliant with the company’s policies.

Leading monthly deal reviews to ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606, including material right, contract modification, and SSP assessments

Researching, evaluating, and preparing technical revenue accounting memos

Partnering with revenue operations and GL operations with month end close

Supporting internal and external audits and contribute to a SOX-compliant environment by documenting workbook procedures and key reports, spreadsheets, and calculations.

Leading and assisting with ad hoc projects

Required

5+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting.

Excellent knowledge of revenue accounting (ASC 606) pronouncements.

Have some Big 4 & accounting operations experience.

Experience analyzing and accounting for complex SaaS contracts.

Experience in writing complex technical accounting position papers.

Have solid organizational skills, the ability to manage priorities, and attention to detail.

Be a team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional organizations.

Be proficiency with MS Excel and have experience with Oracle, Zuora, Salesforce, SQL (Snowflake).
