Responsibilities
Maintain current knowledge of, and support compliance with, applicable laws and regulations
Draft, review and negotiate payor contracts, as well as RFQ and RFP support and a range of NDAs, all within an agreed approval matrix and legal policy framework
Negotiating terms and conditions and developing relationships in the best interest of the company
Assist in reviewing and revising current processes, structures and procedures for efficiency and support projects
Assist in developing, maintaining and updating contracting database and records
Establish good working relationships throughout the department and across all business units, primarily the Sales leadership
Stay up to date with healthcare regulations and review contractual language to ensure compliance
Work on special projects as requested

Required
Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and admitted into a state bar
5+ years of experience in the areas of corporate or healthcare law and knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicaid insurance, state insurance and HMO regulations
Possess advanced working knowledge of subject matter
Experience negotiating, drafting, and implementing more advanced/complex contracts for managed care plans, health systems, or government agencies
Strong attention to detail and possess commitment to providing excellent client service
Ability to quickly identify and analyze problems to form an opinion and offer practical advice to the business
Possess high-level legal drafting and negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and strong ability to professionally interact with other employees, customers and suppliers
Solid computer, organizational and follow-up skills: Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, CRM Sales databases
Preferred
Prior experience with government contract law, health law and managed care
