Responsibilities

Integration Strategy and Planning : Align integration strategies with the agency’s mission and cloud goals, analyze and design the cloud architecture, and establish system requirements.

System Integration and Optimization : Lead AWS integrations for new services and applications, troubleshoot issues, optimize resource utilization, and automate processes to streamline deployments and monitoring.

Collaboration with Stakeholders : Work closely with internal teams, third-party vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful integration and alignment on project objectives.

Security, Compliance, and Standards : Conduct security assessments, maintain compliance with industry and federal standards, and work closely with security teams.

Continuous Improvement and Change Management : Lead improvement efforts in cloud architecture, review integration processes, and evaluate new technologies.

Documentation and Reporting : Document processes, create presentations, and report on system performance and optimization strategies.

Leadership and Training : Provide technical leadership, develop training materials, and guide junior team members.

Strategic Planning and Resource Management : Assist in planning future cloud capabilities and resource management.

Required

At least 3 years in a similar role and 7 years in IT overall.

Cloud architecture (AWS, Azure), data analysis, vendor management, system integration, compliance, workflow optimization, security assessments, project management, and resource allocation.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or similar.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Preferred

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps, ML applications in the cloud, government contracting, child welfare compliance, Agile, and disaster recovery.

Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect.
