Responsibilities
Design and implement a development strategy for the organization
Understand ProjectArt's history, structure, objectives, programs, and financial needs in order to write successful proposals and reports
Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of federal programs and foundations
Submit proposals to ProjectArt staff for review and make necessary edits
Maintain records and submit reports related to grant awards
Assist in the development and execution of the annual fundraising plan
Oversee ongoing development efforts
Work with the management team to identify funds needed, targets, and approaches
Work with senior leadership to assure all development goals are met
Manage the implementation of and work together with staff responsible for aspects of data entry and gift processing

Required
A results-driven, pro-active personality-type.
Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in Nonprofit Fundraising
Proven development results.
Excellent team player, coach and manager to development staff.
Conduct research, prospecting, and application to multiple donor sources
Knows how to build a robust donor base
Experience with Fundraising Software and Donor Databases
Has successfully secured financial support from foundations, corporations, govt and individuals
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Strong Leadership and Management Skills
Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
Create and execute a strategy for a large sustained base of annual individual donors
Develop and track proposals and reports for all foundation and corporate fundraising
Together with Executive Director, develop and maintain key long-term relationships with donors and prospects
