Responsibilities
Servicing Crop Insurance Policies and for the daily processing of all claims
Reviewing and entering claims and quality control information as needed
Making appropriate claims determinations by reviewing production records, claim records, quality control records, farming practices, and entities
Assisting agents, adjusters, field staff and insureds with policy questions
Corresponding with agents, adjusters, field staff or other companies for supporting documentation when necessary
Setting up, monitoring, and completing claims reviews
Assisting with the creation and processing of new per diem adjuster contracts and maintaining adjuster database.

Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within agriculture or farming
Knowledge of agricultural commodities and good farming practices
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policy information
Strong verbal and written communication skills
The ability to calculate percentages, perform other mathematical computations, and input data
Preferred
Knowledge/understanding of MPCI and Crop Hail lines of insurance is a plus
