Responsibilities

Lead assessment, opportunity identification, plan creation, and implementation for the overall market intelligence product and service portfolio

Support strategic goal creation and measurement in terms of revenue and community as part of portfolio ownership

Lead the design, development, and launch of The Wohlers Report’s successor (2.0, database, platform, etc) as part of overall market intelligence product and service portfolio

Integrate analytics, modeling techniques, and other tools across portfolio to provide insightful industry perspectives

Lead the digitization of the WA’s digital database, creation of WA’s digital platform for data analysis and visualization, and their collective expansion and maintenance

Lead analyses of the advanced manufacturing technology and industry landscape to support product content development and inform product-market fit

Lead the establishment of strategic partnerships for WA’s data acquisition strategy

Oversee performance metrics and ensure accurate revenue reporting and efficient operations management

Offer comprehensive support in the planning, execution, communication, and project management of WA advisory projects.

Support proposal development and staffing in response to project calls

Support the development of engaging articles, social media content, and market research deliverables for WA products and services

Collaborating with associates and contributors to align content and deliverables with our strategic goals and objectives

Serve as an interdisciplinary resource across business, financial, technical, and economic topics for deliverables including presentations

Support the documentation, data acquisition, cleaning, analysis, and visualization of technical data including all WA data for producing deliverables and presentations

Support identifying market indicators for key technologies development, their constraints, and standards gaps specific to additive manufacturing

Deliver technical presentations as required for the business internally or by external invitation

Represent WA and network at industry events through attendance and participation including panel discussions and presentations

Manage collaborative efforts with marketing for cohesive business objectives and growth

Assist business development efforts to win projects by providing scope definition and subject matter expertise

Support analysis and development of sales strategies to target new market opportunities and surpass revenue goals

Work with stakeholders to analyze emerging trends and opportunities for additive manufacturing and related industries

Support landscape analysis of adjacent emerging technologies beyond additive manufacturing such as robotics and automation, industrial software, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and cybersecurity

Support team development through hiring initiatives, training and cross-training, and fostering a supportive environment in the face of organizational changes.

Standardize and scale (to extent systems and plans not already present) staff training and professional development to increase resource flexibility and resilience

Uphold and propagate company culture by continuously striving for excellence and industry leadership.
