Responsibilities
Support Mission Critical complex large scale application development and maintenance activities.
Subject matter expertise in back-end development.
Provide Tier 3 support for public facing applications.
Design and develop quick prototypes.

Required
Federal agency requires US Citizenship
BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering.
Candidates must be able to pass a criminal and financial background investigation.
Possesses a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Java development, mainly focused on back-end development.
3+ years of experience in Spring Boot - Recent Spring Boot experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a subject matter expert in back-end development.
Must have experience in J2EE technologies.
Must have experience with SQL Server databases, Stored Procedures and SSIS Packages.
Must have experience with GitHub Enterprise, ANT, Maven and other build scripts.
Must be knowledgeable of the SDLC, design patterns and best practices.
Proficient communication, facilitation, and mediation skills to be demonstrated upon interview. Client-facing skills are required for position
Experience in solving complex business issues- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working with multiple project and project teams simultaneously.
Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
Must have customer-centric service delivery focus.
Preferred
Experience with cloud platforms is a plus, especially Azure Cloud and Cloud.Gov environment.
Experience with Application servers like TOMCAT, WebLogic, JBoss.
A full stack development experience.
Experience GITHub enterprise, Azure DevOps and Microsoft TFS.
Experience working directly with technical and business teams.
Knowledge of SDLC, IT governance and operations.
Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, and application dependencies.
