Responsibilities

Holistically owns our Terraform module development for the enterprise.

Consults on Terraform use cases and module development for outside groups within the enterprise.

Refactors existing Terraform modules.

Contributes to any general-purpose automation work as required by Service Enablement Architecting.

Helps to choose and guide contractor resources related to Terraform work.

Collaborates with different groups like Cloud Platform, DevOps, Networking, EA, etc.

Performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments.

Develops specifications for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings.

Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.

Begins to influence department’s strategy.

Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.

Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, IT, or related field or equivalent experience

5 or more years of technical experience

2+ years of enterprise Terraform experience

Preferred

Deep Terraform knowledge in an enterprise environment

Experience with IaaC; Terraform & ARM templates

Experience with configuration tools like Ansible or Puppet

Well versed with Azure DevOps (CICD pipeline) and/or Github

Strong coding skills, with the ability to learn new technologies
