Responsibilities

Process Multi‐State full cycle weekly payrolls including data entry, validation, employee payments and report outputs (semi-monthly payroll).

Prepare and submit all required payroll outputs including payroll tax filing and accounting reports.

Prepare certified payrolls in compliance with government regulations and project specifications.

Stay up‐to‐date with payroll laws and regulations.

Analyze and resolve payroll issues, discrepancies, and inquiries.

Collaborate with cross‐functional teams, including HR, accounting, and project management.

Process off-cycle payrolls as needed for terminations, adjustments etc.

401K reporting: Reconcile and report on 401k contributions and disbursements.

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

5+ years of payroll supervisory role.

Experience in payroll including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.

Knowledge of US multi‐state, multi‐jurisdiction environment, taxes and labor laws.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in Excel.

PC skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft environment and the ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information in a meaningful way.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
