Responsibilities
Full ownership of payroll processes and payroll accounting
Ensure regulatory compliance with all federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations and tax filing requirements
Full ownership of the payroll accounting for all payroll and payroll-related accounts
Accurate payroll processing of employee pay, deductions, taxes, and one-time payments (bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, etc)
Serve as a main point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries, issues, and new initiatives

Required
7+ years of payroll management experience
Proficient with multistate and global payroll processes
Strong understanding of payroll accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
Proficiency with Workday and ADP
Experience maintaining regulatory compliance, process documentation, and payroll policies
Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively across functions and levels throughout the company
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with a big-picture strategic understanding
Ability to manage ambiguity, and multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency
Hands-on, “Roll-up the sleeves” approach to accomplishing all necessary tasks
Experience in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Preferred
Working knowledge of NetSuite
Assisting in various financial audits
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
CPP or other payroll professional certifications designation preferred, but not required
CPA designation preferred, but not required
