Responsibilities
Convert business requirements into comprehensive technical solutions within the Workiva platform.
Collaborate with key business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into technical requirements for the Workiva platform, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate communication and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
Architect and implement scalable solutions within the Workiva platform to address business requirements.
Ensure that Workiva solutions comply with accounting and finance best practices and reporting standards.
Collaborate with finance teams to ensure that solutions support financial close, reporting, and audit processes.
Participate in the QA of solutions to ensure features and functions are delivered.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that implemented solutions meet business needs.
Design integrations with data warehouses and other data management platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and reporting.
Oversee data governance and integrity for reporting and analysis, ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
Work with data engineers to design and manage ETL processes, data pipelines, and data models within the Workiva environment.
Support data integration efforts with other enterprise systems and data platforms (e.g. Oracle, Data Warehouse, etc.).
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring that all projects meet business requirements and deadlines.
Manage and track status of requirements and tasks throughout project lifecycle; enforce and redefine, as necessary.
Coordinate with external vendors, internal IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and support.
Provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting for the Workiva platform, ensuring that all solutions continue to meet evolving business needs.
Identify opportunities for system improvements and process & security optimizations, offering recommendations to enhance functionality and performance.
Provide technical and functional support, business systems analysis, solution design, and deployment of Workiva applications.

Required
Proven experience with Workiva or similar platforms, including knowledge of reporting process automation, data structures, and integrations.
Collaborate with key business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workiva solution architecture, business systems analysis, or related roles.
Minimum of 7 to 10 years in designing and implementing data warehousing and reporting solutions.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms and reporting tools.
Experience with SQL tools, ETL processes, data automation, and reporting.
Experience with financial enterprise systems such as Oracle Financials a plus.
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including ability to use Microsoft Office desktop tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science preferred.
Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent a plus.
Certifications in Workiva platform, financial reporting, or data management a plus.
