Responsibilities
Leadership – Must be able to lead by example coordinating meetings with all levels of management and employees
Self- Starter – Execute a proactive approach to solving and avoiding problems for business continuity.
Active Listener - Understands the two-way interaction process between IT and the rest of the business
Innovative – Always looking at opportunities to improve and enhance quality business process and systems.
Accountability – Must be able to take ownership of responsibilities for both positive and negative outcomes.
Global Service Center – Provide support for the GSC as needed.
Manufacturing
Manufacturing Costing - monthly and annual cost rolls.
Manufacturing Production Accounting – Manage manufacturing system errors and transaction conflicts that result in G/L differences from the perpetual inventory and General Ledger Balances.
Manufacturing Variance Accounting -perform analysis for root causes, and make adjustments based on findings.
Enterprise Reporting and Planning experience – ERP Develop new reports to satisfy requests that come in from management based on the changing business requirements.
Business Process Improvement
Identity and correct business processes that are inefficient and costly. Develop plans to correct old procedures identifying, people, cost and time, submitting new approaches to upper management for approval. Creating budgets and project plans to management for the Business Process Improvements identified. Experienced and participated in Kaizan and black belt projects
Training
Provide training on general accounting
Provide training on Cost Accounting/Variance Accounting
Provide training on manufacturing accounting
Provide training on how to use JDE for reconciliation purposes.
Provide analysis on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit/Collections Transactions
JDE ERP system training
Information Technology
Understanding on how the relational data bases works.
Production System Design and modification
Change management, SOX controls and internal management
Problem Identification
Perform Root Cause Analysis
Problem solving -System Correction and configuration to resolve issue
New JDE software development and reporting
JDE System Auditor periodically checking the relational database to ensure integrity and accuracy
