Responsibilities
Provide 2-3 hours of weekly individualized mentorship to startup founders, addressing key areas such as customer discovery, business model development, market validation, branding, and growth strategies.
Join the twice weekly virtual sessions (Mondays and Wednesdays 12:30-2PM ET) and supplement the accelerator curriculum with expertise relating to the mental and behavioral health landscape.
Leverage an existing network to connect startups with other experts that support the curriculum topics.
Help build a supportive, collaborative environment within the accelerator by attending and inviting 3-5 industry experts to the program’s pitch showcases where critical pitch feedback is provided to the ventures.
Amplify the SEED SPOT community as a collaborator on the SEED SPOT blog.

Required
5+ years of experience in entrepreneurship as it relates to mental and behavioral health, digital health, or health technology sectors.
Demonstrated experience mentoring or advising early-stage startups, ideally by leading a team or advising in an accelerator or venture-building program.
Strong connections in the mental health or digital health industry, including clinical experts, industry thought leaders, and potential strategic partners.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, encourage and amplify founders, and provide constructive feedback.
A commitment to supporting mission-driven ventures and diverse founders that are advancing the field of mental and behavioral health through scalable, impactful solutions.
