Responsibilities

Develop our next version of Instacart Design System’s iOS components

Provide simple solutions that help engineers create great experiences at high velocity

Collaborate with your engineering peers to design elegant and consistent component APIs

Focus on the details of developer experience to make using the Instacart Design System absolutely frictionless

Engage with designers daily to co-create the best components/patterns possible

Support Instacart's iOS engineering team with best-in-class documentation/support

Required

5+ years of experience in iOS app UI development

Practical knowledge and experience using SwiftUI and UIKit

Effective in developing native mobile applications with accessibility in mind

Strong communication and written skills

Solid understanding of fundamental design principles and a high attention to detail in UI implementation

An exceptionally collaborative approach towards working with design and engineering teams

Preferred

Background in writing developer-oriented documentation

Experience working directly on a design system team a huge plus
