Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high quality, efficient gameplay code in UE5 using C++.
Collaborate with the design team to implement, refine, and balance gameplay features.
Architect networked gameplay mechanics, including combat and traversal.
Define and maintain workflows that allow all disciplines to iterate effectively.
Provide technical leadership and help mentor less experienced team members.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of experience in gameplay programming and at least two shipped AAA games.
Ability to write, debug, and maintain C++ code.
Experience using 3D math to implement features such as player cameras, physics, movement, and animation.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical customers.
Preferred
Experience working with Unreal Engine, with prior UE4+ experience highly desirable.
Strong game design sensibilities and experience working closely with game designers on either gameplay mechanics or character, camera and controls.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a self-directed manner.
Portfolio of previous projects showing a range of experience.
