Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement interoperability solutions between Innovaccer and Epic Systems using standards such as HL7, FHIR, and IHE

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize interoperability needs

Develop and maintain interfaces, APIs, and data mappings to facilitate seamless data exchange

Troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues in a timely and efficient manner

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with Epic Systems experts to ensure compliance with Epic's interoperability standards

Develop and maintain Epic Clarity database queries and reports to support interoperability solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field

3+ years of experience in Epic Systems development, integration, or interoperability

Strong understanding of Epic Systems, including Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle

Experience with Epic Clarity database, including data modeling, querying, and reporting

Experience with interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and IHE

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python

Experience with API development and data mapping

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

Experience with healthcare data exchange protocols such as CCD, C-CDA, and DICOM

Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and Meaningful Use

Experience with agile development methodologies

Certification in Epic Systems development or interoperability
